Who We Are

Orca Lelum Wellness Society is an Indigenous-led organization governed by a Board of Directors representing nine Coast Salish member Nations, including: Halalt, Lyackson, Malahat, Penelakut, Qualicum, Snaw-Naw-As, Snuneymuxw, Stz'uminus, and Ts'uubaa-asatx. Rooted in cutlural knowledge, values, and ancestral wisdom, the Board provides collective leadership - working with one heart and one mind - to advance the wellness, health, and future of Indigenous youth.

Orca Lelum is supported by a multidisciplinary team of over 50 staff, including regulated health professionals, a holistic trauma advisor, counsellors, social workers, cultural coordinators, youth support workers, family wellness workers, aftercare support workers, and intake workers. Together this team brings a holistic, trauma-informed, and culturally grounded approach to care.

Care at Orca Lelum is relational and responsive to each young person's unique journey - supporting healing across mind, body, heart, and spirit.
